Villa TAF – in the “Golden South” –
Here the soul can dangle!
Villa TAF – a beautiful holiday home in Kamilari, a Greek island village with small restaurants and tavernas within walking distance. Situated on the edge of picturesque olive groves and on a hillside with two neighbouring villas, the sandy/pebble beach of Kalamaki, for example, which is only approx. 2.5 km away, can be reached in a few minutes by car or after an approx. half-hour walk.
Those seeking cool water can also refresh themselves in the hotel’s own private pool. You can enjoy the view over the impressive mountain landscape of Crete, including Psiloritis, the highest mountain on the island, or catch a glimpse of the sea from the side. The pool can be heated or cooled on request and can therefore be used all year round.
The outdoor area also has a terrace with sun loungers and barbecue facilities for wonderful summer evenings. Brand new is also a roof terrace, from which you have a beautiful view of the sea and the surrounding nature.
Up to two cars can be parked in front of the house and to the side. The three bedrooms each have their own air conditioning unit; there is a further air conditioning unit in the living and dining area. The accommodation also offers free, fast Wi-Fi.
The villa, which is designed for 4-6 people, has two separate floors that can be accessed via separate entrances.
On the ground floor (approx. 80 sqm) there are 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, 1 separate WC and 1 living/dining room with an integrated, well-equipped kitchen.
The basement (approx. 60 sqm) is equipped with an open bedroom, which has its advantages especially in hot summers, a bathroom with shower as well as a leisure and fitness area.

Where does the name come from?
The name TAF is derived from the word “Tau”, the 19th letter of the Greek alphabet. The letter is represented with the majuscule “T”, which corresponds to the shape of the villa.

Arrival:
Arrival is usually via the international airport of Heraklion. If desired, we can organise transport to/from the airport in advance or put you in touch with a local car rental company.
About us
We ourselves are a German family with several now grown-up children, all of whom – for different reasons – found their love for Crete, Kamilari and ultimately also for Villa TAF.
In 2015, the three “O.L.I.V.E. Luxury Villas” were built and when they were put up for sale in 2021, we deliberately chose the charm of TAF, namely the house off the main road with unobstructed distant views.
Even though we still use the domicile ourselves, we would also like to give other interested parties the opportunity to enjoy our small but fine “refuge in the golden south”, hence the name of this website:
